Those Who Are InFamous

InFamous is a game that is just awesome. From the very start of this game, you play as this guy, Cole McGrath, who is a conduit pimp. All he first knows about is that there is a giant crater around him and that he gets struck by lightning, a lot. Through the game, you’re looking for this guy named John White, but he ends up getting killed.

There are civilians that hate you all throughout Empire City, where you play the first game, because you accidentally activated the ray-sphere. Then there are reapers, the terrorists of Empire City, who shoot anything that moves. But then there are these other conduits that want to escape the city and show the world their power, just a note: shoot them. Then there is Kessler, the conduit with every known conduits’ power, plus his own to travel through time.

Kessler first created the ray-sphere to test what its effects were, but that’s when things darkened. He along with his associate, John White, gained conduit powers. At first Kessler thought James hadn’t survived through the blast, then he emerged with his uncontrollable power. Kessler panicked and ran off with his family, for his powers hadn’t shown themselves yet. As he ran, a new disease had popped up, the Plague. People started dying all over, and it was only a matter of time before the Plague caught up with Kessler’s family. While mourning over his family, Kessler had used a power he didn’t even know that he had, time travel. The time was about 10 years earlier from when he and James had used the ray-spheres.

Immediately, Kessler set to work. He sped up the development of the ray-sphere, but time travel had done a number on his body. He needed to find someone else to be the hero that he wasn’t. He chose Cole, a mail courier that nobody ever noticed. Took tons of jobs to piss-off his parents. But most importantly, had a crush on Trish, Kessler’s future wife. Kessler gave Cole a package, delivered by Cole. It had looked like an open package, so he closed it. That triggered the whole ray-sphere blast. Killing hundreds, but leaving one at the center. Cole. Then, the game begins.
